Where I came from

My name is Khulood. I am from Saudi Arabia. I have been in the U.S for one year. My childhood was a happy one. I used to win the prize of the ideal student each year. My parents were satisfied with my behaviors in school. Everyone tell me that I was very innocence. I used to follow the roles and whatever my parents told me to do. When get older and become teenager I wanted to be different so I was the trouble maker in our home yet I was well behaved in school. I did not want to loose the ideal student prize that I used to get.

stretching your positive mind

It is really difficult to get to morning class on time. Since I live in Baltimore and I have to take the train to the school. So it is kind of hassle that happen everyday. Sometimes the train comes late and I have to run to class.  Yet I arrive 15 minutes late. It is daily stress that makes me feel bad.

most important lesson

The most important lesson I have learned in my life is to be strong no matter what happen. I believe that each obstacle in my life will pass and I will have peaceful time. My grandmother is my ideal in life, she taught me how to be stronger and do not stop trying. She has a lot of challenges in her life that build her great personality. She struggled with poverty when she was child. When she became older and got married, her husband passed a way at a young age. So she raised her kids a lone. She devoted her entire life for her kids.   She has a wisdom thinking toward any action. She also know how to enjoy life and appreciate what she has. Her way of receiving and giving in life is amazing. She taught me how to keep balance in life and to encounter difficulties  bravely.

Living in the U.S

Living in the U.S is a challenging thing for me. I have to learn many things at a short amount of time.I have totally changed my life style and my view toward life.  My life keeps going ups and downs but I am trying to make a balance. Even though there are a lot of changes , yet I am happy that I have to deal with different situations. I believe the stress that we go through is a good way to learn more about life secrets.
I am happy to be a student at MEI. It is a great school in which I have improved my English. I learned a lot of learning styles like: taking note, summarize, and study group. Also I have made friendship with native speakers. My conversation partner is one of my close friends now.  I like the trips that we go as a school together. I am thankful for MEI for their efforts in helping students to learn more.

a Perfect World

                                                                Perfect world

Perfect World is a dream of every one. It is a good life style that everyone want to live in, yet it is hard to apply. Creating a perfect world is almost impossible since we are a human beings. It is difficult to live in a black and white world ,but it is possible to have a good world. Perfect world means a strict system that we can not apply in the real life. Perfect world has freedom, development, peace and harmony.

From my point of view the concept of the perfectionist  depends on how each individual think about it. I think we live in a perfect and a wonderful world. But we as humans are not perfect. God has created our  beautiful world and he has gave us whatever we need to live. God gave us the roles to follow in order to be good people and to live happily. Our human nature makes it difficult to be perfect but we tray to achieve this balance.

Perfect world is a place where we found freedom. By nature freedom is in our world but people who have the iron fist of  power have controlled this freedom. It is important to have rulers who make decisions but obeying them when they are mistaken can ruin our lives. Most of the politicians and decisions makers think of their own good, but not what is good for the universe.   “If freedom of speech is taken away, then dumb and silent we may be led, like sheep to the slaughter.”
 George Washington.

Perfect world should be developing for better. It is possible to achieve that in our real world and there are many great examples of countries around the world that are progressing every year for better. On the other hand there are many countries that do not make progress for their people. They make their country imperfect for what people excepting. Progression is the real meaning of perfect life without it we are not happy.

Peace and harmony is the goal of a perfect world. Living in peace is really important and there are many organizations that work on achieving it. Even though there are wars everywhere but we as a human want to live in peace and we tray to make it happen. Harmony is the result of freedom, development and peace.

In conclusion we can make our world a perfect place by the way we look at it. We can improve our circumstances to achieve balance and harmony. Our world is a perfect world but we need to discover how to keep it perfect.
